Born in Milwaukee and raised in Seattle, I moved to Germany for work to challenge myself with new cultures and languages. Several years, a new country, and another degree later, I am working independently as an interior architect.


I live in the Netherlands with my Swedish husband and three Tonkinese cats – each of which is born in a different country. I enjoy the challenge of living in my non-native culture and exploring the nooks and crannies of Europe.


I enjoy learning and don’t believe that I will ever stop exploring new interests. Currently I am researching living green walls and how to integrate them sustainably into the interior environment.
