Bookwall, a large shelving system for a serious book collector in Amsterdam. Reclaimed wood gives the newly completed building a taste of the sea. Sixty year old reclaimed basralocus piles from the Rotterdam harbor, with patina from the sea, preside over the daily business of the Houthaven in Amsterdam. Drawers are painted with environmentally friendly limewash. All wood is recycled or FSC.
